Become an American Graduate Champion
Champions are needed to commit their time, skills and resources to help youth succeed. A Champion is a caring adult, friend, mentor or role model who helps youth of any age see their potential and develop a love for learning that could have tremendous impact on their future.
Champions can be a parent, teacher, volunteer, coach, neighbor or friend.
Our goal is to improve the educational and career outcomes for youth – a 90% graduation rate by 2020: Let’s Make It Happen.
We invite our partners to be involved:
As a connector. Introduce us to resources, organizations and businesses willing to help us promote and move the mission of American Graduate: Getting to Work forward.
As an amplifier. Share our videos and posts via your social media and website to increase our reach throughout Hampton Roads.
As a funder. Enable WHRO to bring this important and critically needed program to Hampton Roads youth, parents, teachers, veterans, counselors and leaders of business and manufacturing.
